Reflexology is a non-invasive complimentary therapy. The feet are said to be a Micro-Map of the entire body.
It is based on the principle, that there are reflex points all over the foot and each one corresponds to an organ or system within the body.
When the reflex points are worked on, your body should go into a state of relaxation and it is said this is when the body will start to heal and bring back natural balance.
Mian Dui Facial Ritual
A truly incredible facial treatment that infuses Western & Eastern holistic elements, that will not only make you feel deeply relaxed but also uplifted, helping to calm both the body and mind.
During your treatment a combination of Facial Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage and Facial Acupressure will be used, as well as a beautiful facial oil and Gua Sha facial crystals of Rose Quartz and Jade. This facial ritual will help to encourage collagen production and muscle tightening. This will all help to aid in the reduction of tension in the facial muscles, thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and encouraging natural radiance.
Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage is a deeply relaxing massage to the head, shoulders, upper back, arms, neck, scalp and face. The primary aim of this incredible treatment is to promote good health and well-being. Massage is said to boost the feelings of relaxation and happiness.
Indian head massage includes various massage techniques like tapping, chopping, friction, stretching, to name but a few.
It is said that Indian head massage has physical benefits of relieving the symptoms of insomnia, reducing sinusitis, aiding the relief of migraines and so much more.
The treatment is traditionally carried out in a seated position, with the use of oil. The most commonly used oils are grapeseed, sesame, coconut and mustard, but this will be discussed during your consultation, prior to treatment.
Please be aware that oil is used and applied to the head/hair, so if you have appointments straight after you may want to give yourself time to go home to wash it out, however we do advise you to keep the oil in your hair for a least 8 hours or if you can stretch to 24, just so that your hair gets the full benefit of the oil.
Reflexology is pretty much suitable for everyone, starting from babies and going through all the ages. However, there maybe times when it’s not suitable to carry out a Reflexology treatment, this is why you will have a consultation prior to your appointment.
It is said, that the hands and feet are a micro-system of the entire body and by applying gentle pressure and massage to specific parts, will help to alleviate congestion and help to bring back natural flow and equilibrium.
Specific areas and reflexes within the hands and feet correspond to the different organs and glands within the body.
